We invited the whole school and their parents and carers to come for a browse of the fabulous books on offer and also to take part in a range of guided reading activities whilst enjoying a hot drink and some of our cook’s famous biscuits. Thank you everyone for an impressive turn out. Because of the impressive amount of book sales, our school were rewarded a staggering £700 to spend on books in school. Well done everbody!

As part of our ICT topic, we have been working on giving and using directions using different types of directional language. We began by using a map and a car and had to use different directional language to direct our partner to a chosen part of the map. This lesson was in preparation for our ICT Textese Turtle topic where we have had to direct the Turtle using different directional language to make a variety of different shapes and patterns.
